Designed to lock the flywheel ring gear via the starter motor aperture.
Applications: Mercedes A Class (1998 - 2006), B Class (2005 - 2012) , Vaneo (2000 - 2006) fitted with 1.4, 1.6, 1.9, 2.1L petrol and 1.7, 2.0L diesel engines.
Engine codes: M166, M668 and M640.
Equivalent to OEM 166589004000.
Bolts in place of starter motor to lock the flywheel.
