Description
The Defender E201512 is a popular transformer built for demanding construction tasks where mains voltage needs stepping down and isolating. It features a tough GRP case with 2 x 16A 110V outlets, making it ideal for various applications.
This transformer is equipped with resettable overload protection to keep tools and appliances safe while maximizing work times. It is suitable for use with lighting applications and corded power tools such as hammer drills, impact drills, percussion drills, and rotary hammer drills. Additionally, it can be used with other industrial appliances like fume extractors.
The intermittent rating is 1500VA, with a duty cycle of 5 minutes on and 15 minutes off, while the continuous rating is 900VA. The transformer is BSEN61558-1 compliant and is fitted with a 110V 13A plug for added convenience.
For safety, the transformer is centre-tapped to earth and comes with a 2m rubber-sheathed H07RN-F cable featuring a 1.5mm² 3-core conductor. Its ingress protection rating is IP44, ensuring durability in various environments. The dimensions are 180 x 255 x 230mm, and it weighs 11kg.
