Description
The Defender E203010 is a popular transformer built for demanding construction tasks, where mains voltage needs stepping down and isolating. It features a tough GRP case with 2 x 110V 16A outlets, ensuring durability and reliability on site.
This transformer includes resettable overload protection, keeping tools and appliances safe while maximising work times. It is suitable for use with industrial power tools such as SDS drills, small demolition hammers, bench grinders, 4.5" angle grinders, jigsaws, and circular saws. Additionally, it can power light products, industrial fans, dehumidifiers, and fume extractors.
The unit is centre tapped to earth for extra safety and has an intermittent rating of 3000VA, with a continuous rating of 1650VA. The duty cycle is 5 minutes on and 15 minutes off, providing efficient operation. It has an ingress protection rating of IP44, making it suitable for various environments.
The transformer is supplied with a 240V 13A plug and a 2m cable, and it is compliant with BSEN 61558-1 standards. Its compact dimensions of 190 x 240 x 260mm make it easy to transport and store.
