Lawnmowers
The cutting action of a rotary mower is via a high speed horizontally mounted rotating blade which can be adjusted to cut the grass to the desired height. They can be electric, battery, or petrol driven but for larger lawns petrol is preferred because of not being restricted by a power cable.
Some petrol mowers have the extra assistance of being self propelled. Conventional hand push mowers are still available in the range, ideal for use on small lawns.
